• It edits videos you already have. It turns one long video, such as a podcast, an interview or a stream, into short vertical clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• It shows why each clip was picked, with the hook the clip opens on and the line that earned it.
• It adds captions and reframes the picture on the speaker's face.
• It makes split screen videos, fake text message videos and narrated story videos, with AI voices in English and Italian.
• It removes vocals or background music from a video.
• It lets you play a clip before you accept it.
• It takes changes in a chat. You describe the edit, the Editor Assistant applies it, and every edit can be undone.
• It connects to AI assistants through an MCP connector, so an assistant in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can find and export clips.

What GPT-Video does not do

• It does not post or schedule. It stops at the exported file, which you post yourself or hand to the scheduler you already use.
